By now you probably can attest that I love pancakes. I also love minimal and healthy ingredients. Those two combined? A favorite combination for sure.


Now that it’s December and it’s getting really cold outside I find myself craving a warm comforting breakfast with a hint of refreshing summer-y flavor like these Lemon Poppy Seed Protein Pancakes!

Hello, refreshing! I love anything lemon-poppy seed, especially breakfast.

Lemon Poppy Seed Protein Pancakes


  • 2 Ripe Bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 scoops protein powder {Use code Lexi for 10% off orders}
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 1 1/2 tsp poppyseeds
  • 2 tbsp flour of choice


  • Combine all ingredients until smooth
  • Spray pan and pour out pancake batter
  • Cook on medium/low heat and flip once pancakes begin bubbling
  • Serve hot with {optional} grass-fed butter and pure maple syrup
