Crispy Chicken Tacos with Special Sauce

You guys, I am ALL OVER these Crispy Chicken Tacos.

For starters, since I tried Sir Kensington’s Special Sauce last month I was hooked (and so was Mike). The jar was gone so fast. Burgers, chicken, fish– you name it, we slathered it on.

It’s seriously so good.

Crispy Chicken Tacos with Special Sauce

Prep Time 20 min Cook Time 20 min Total Time 0:40 Serves 4

Ingredients

Directions

  • In a bowl combine flours, flaxseed, salt, and pepper
  • In a separate bowl whisk together eggs
  • Dip sliced chicken breasts into egg, then dredge in flour mixture- repeat until all chicken is coated
  • In a large skillet, heat oil until hot
  • Place chicken in the skillet and let fry for 5-8 minutes on each side, depending on thickness
  • Fry until chicken is crispy and golden, but juicy in the center
  • While chicken is going, make tortillas as instructed and set aside
  • Slice avocado and mango, and set aside
  • Once ready, slice chicken and begin assembling tacos
  • Add chicken, slaw, lettuce, mango, avocado, and special sauce drizzle
  • Serve immediately

  • 1 batch homemade tortillas (find the recipe HERE)

For the Special Slaw

  • 2-3 tbsp Sir Kensington Special Sauce
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
