CHOCOLATE NO BAKE LACTATION BITES

All new moms need an easy-to-make snack, and these No Bake Lactation Bites are it! These chocolate energy bites are packed with ingredients said to help support a mother's milk supply, and are so chocolatey and delicious. Made with cocoa powder and nut butter, they're nutrient-dense and perfect to make-ahead of time.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats see note
  • 1 cup nut-butter or sunflower butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup ground flaxseed
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup brewer's yeast see note

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a large bowl. Mix together with a spatula until fully combined.
  • Roll dough into heaping tablespoon-sized balls.
  • Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  1. If you are gluten-intolerant, make sure to check the label on the rolled oats that they are certified gluten-free.
  2. If you wish to skip out on the brewer's yeast, omit it and replace it with an extra tablespoon of flax.
