- 1.5 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs or bone-in
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil or olive oil
- 1.5 teaspoons fine sea salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Pre-heat grill or grill pan to medium high heat, and grease grill grates.
Pat chicken dry. Drizzle oil over chicken.
In small bowl whisk together salt, pepper, turmeric, garlic, paprika.
Sprinkle spice mix and mix to coat evenly.
When grill is hot, add chicken and let cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through.
Let chicken sit for 5 minutes. Serve warm with sides of choice!
- Storing. Cooked chicken will last in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or in the freezer for 2-3 months. To reheat, thaw overnight in the fridge if frozen, then warm on the stove until heated through.
- Check the temp. It’s the most foolproof method to check that the food is cooked all the way through. It should be 165FºF in the thickest part of the chicken.
