Ingredients
Sloppy Joe's:
1tablespoonextra virgin olive oil
1clovegarliccrushed
1lb.grass-fed beef
1 15ozcan organic tomato sauce
1teaspoonarrowroot
1teaspoonwhite vinegar
1 1/2tablespoonsyellow or dijon mustard
1/2teaspoonchili powdermore to taste
1/2teaspoonsea saltmore to taste
1/2tablespoononion powder
1teaspoonpaprika
Toppings:
1jalapeñosliced
1/2red onionsliced
1tomatosliced
1/4cuplettuceroughly chopped
Instructions
Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté for one minute.
Add in ground beef and let cook until brown and no pink remains.
Add in tomato sauce, white vinegar, yellow or dijon mustard, and spices. Mix well to combine.
Add in arrowroot and mix well.
Reduce heat and let simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until thick.
