Our Wedding Recap: Part 1
Hi lovelies! I am super excited to finally get a little photo crazy and share some details from our wedding that was in August! We got married here in the Boston area surrounded by our family and friends, and had truly the most magical weekend.
I’m breaking it up into a few posts so I dont overwhelm you. So, here you have part 1: Getting Ready and The First Look!
My girls and I got ready at my house. We had food catered (from DePasquale’s at Night Cap Corner in Newton, MA), mimosas, lots of laughs, and of course our hair and make-up!
Mike and his guys got ready at the hotel and then we all met at our venue for the first look and pictures. What a whirlwind of a day with so much fun and tons of emotions.
A special moment with my nanny, who you’ll read about more in my cookbook! She is my love (and still going strong at 93 years old)!
My girls!!
We headed to Spring Valley Country Club (our venue) to get into our dresses and finally see Mike! SVCC was the first venue we looked at, and we knew it would be perfect for what we were looking for. We were drawn to their staff who was so helpful with every step of the process, and the food (obviously) that was delicious!
First look:
Spring Valley is on a golf course, so they escorted me outside to the area where Mike was waiting. I was practically sprinting to him I was so excited.
After we had our moment together, our family and bridal parties came out to greet us, celebrate, and take more pictures!
O Luxe Designs blew me away with my bouquet. It was more fabulous than I could have ever imagined!
Our family and bridal party then joined the fun for photos, and then it was time to get ready for the ceremony!
