This Island Blast Green Smoothie is seriously the Best. Smoothie. Ever. It’s just the right sweet, packed with tons of greens, and is super refreshing. The combination may seem interesting, but trust me, it’s perfect!
Every morning at Round Hill Jamaica I got myself a green smoothie and some bacon and eggs. Never really being a huge morning smoothie person, I knew I had to recreate this amazing green smoothie.
Feel free to get creative with this recipe! I love adding chia seeds and flax seeds for extra protein and fiber to make this smoothie extra filling!

Notes
What are your favorite smoothie ingredients?
I am totally digging this smoothie! I usually try to avoid smoothies with too much fruit because I can’t handle the sugar overload so I love that this incorporates other ingredients. The ginger and parsley add an earthiness that tones down the sweet fruit, but the fruit adds just enough sweetness so that it doesn’t taste like too earthy. I honestly hate the taste of parsley but thought I would try this recipe to use up some that I had in the fridge. This was such a perfect balance! Will definitely make again!
I am diabetic so to much fruit. Modification No pineapple and 1 cup blueberries 1 slice bananna.
Yummy! I will cook it! I am sweet tooth))
Hi Lexi,
That’s really looking so good, especially the cucumber and pineapple chunks.. They’re my most favorite smoothie ingredients. Thanks for putting it together.

Sounds amazing! Definitely going to have to try this one!
Hi lexi. I love your website and regular receipes that you share. Great ideas. Lately there have been so many advertisements popping up whilst reading a receipe. Is this new or is it my settings? I find it difficult to become absorbed in your email when an ad pops up ever time I scroll down the page. I love your site but dampens it a little
Thanks for sharing this with me– I’ll look into it further. XO, Lexi
Lexi, this smoothie is right up my alley! And I feel ya. I feel like I go in phases with smoothies but this looks like the perfect welcome to warmer weather!
Yup, you are right, this looks like the best smoothie ever!
Lexi, I’m a HUGE smoothie fan – it’s my preferred breakfast of all time. I rarely have time to make them before dashing off to work, but I could seriously drink a smoothie all.day.long. I am loving this recipe – and pinning for later!

Sounds delicious! I have an allergy to ginger. Would it taste about the same if I skipped the ginger? Thanks for sharing!
