All new moms need an easy-to-make snack, and these No Bake Lactation Bites are it! These chocolate energy bites are packed with ingredients said to help support a mother's milk supply, and are so chocolatey and delicious. Made with cocoa powder and nut butter, they're nutrient-dense and perfect to make-ahead of time.
Ingredients
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats (see note)
- 1 cup nut-butter or sunflower butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup ground flaxseed
- ¼ cup chia seeds
- 1/4 cup brewer's yeast (see note)
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a large bowl. Mix together with a spatula until fully combined.
- Roll dough into heaping tablespoon-sized balls.
- Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
Recipe Notes
- If you are gluten-intolerant, make sure to check the label on the rolled oats that they are certified gluten-free.
- If you wish to skip out on the brewer's yeast, omit it and replace it with an extra tablespoon of flax.
