How to Make Frozen Chocolate Covered Bananas

Are Chocolate Dipped Bananas Healthy?
Totally! Bananas covered in chocolate are the perfect healthy way to satisfy your sweet tooth. Both bananas and peanut butter are great sources of nutrients. The chocolate just makes it more fun, and good dark chocolate even has health benefits!
Can’t Do Peanut Butter?
If you can’t tolerate peanut butter, any creamy nut or seed butter will work great, and any chopped nuts or seeds will be great to replace the peanuts.
Variations
- Use other toppings. Roll the bananas in sprinkles, shredded coconut, crushed cookies or pretzels, or other types of crushed nuts. Chopped almonds, walnuts, pistachios, you name it.
- Make banana bites. Swap the popsicle idea out for frozen banana bites. Simply slice the bananas into bite sized pieces, gently stab each with a toothpick, add all the toppings, coat with chocolate, and freeze as instructed.
- Try another nut butter. Try almond butter, cashew butter, or even sun butter instead.
How Long Do Chocolate Covered Bananas Last?
These chocolate covered bananas will last in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week. They make a great healthy snack to prepare on the weekend and enjoy all week long!
