Easy Charcuterie Appetizer
Ready for the easiest no-cook appetizer ever? These Salad Roll Ups are a classic LCL recipe that I’ve updated with a few new photos and I’m republishing today because I just love this one so much! It couldn’t be simpler than making a quick salad dressing, tossing it with some greens and rolling it up with your favorite charcuturie. It’s bright, fresh and so delicious. Serve at your next backyard cookout for an appetizer when you want to spend as little time in the kitchen as possible, while still serving something really fun and delicious to your guests!
Here is What you Need to Make It
- Thinly Sliced Charcuterie (we like prosciutto, salami, capicolla or even turkey!)
- Mixed Greens
- Olive Oil
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Dijon Mustard
- Honey
- Salt and Pepper
How to Customize It
So I give you the base “recipe”, and then you can go ahead and get as creative as you’d like in terms of any additional fillings you add into the salad component. Here are some fun options:
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Julienned Cucumbers
- Julienned Carrots
- Avocado
- Tomato Slices
- Basil
- Roasted Red Pepper
- Pepperoncini
- Sliced Dried Figs
- Fig Jam
How to Make Them
This recipe is so simple. To make them, you’ll need to:
- Shake together the salad dressing in a jar.
- Assemble the salad.
- Cut up any optional add-in’s.
- Roll up the salad, add-in’s and charcuterie!
How Long Will They Keep
These are best served immediately, due to the fact that the salad is dressed.

Could these be made ahead without the dressing? And then offer the dressing as a dipping sauce?
Sure.
Mmm..these look great! I like your take on this salad wrap. I can’t wait to try this out. I’m curious, can you find avocado oil at the grocery store?
Yes, you can find it at most stores and at BJ’s too!
You can also use olive oil!
Oh man these look delicious! I’ll be keeping the ingredients on hand for everyday lunches!
