Enjoy, my friends!
I made this (using the new liquid to pasta ratio Lexi updated this post to include) and it was amazing and the perfect consistency. I actually omitted the peppers (because instacart forgot them), so can’t wait to try again with the peppers included!
How much chicken please?
It’s in the directions: 1 lb (pound)
How many WW POINTS?
Not sure as we don’t have WW points on the site! Feel free to enter into their free calculator though!
How would I do this with frozen chicken? Supposing I forgot to take it out and defrost it. Hypothetically speaking of course lol
What are in instruction for cooking this in a slow cooker. I don’t have an instant pot 🙁
Where does the mayo come in? Didn’t see it on ingredient list…?
I also bought the same pasta brand, but it did leave liquid as well. I wonder what i did wrong? First time doing pasta in the InstantPot. I just drained it and still mixed with sauce and it was great!
I had a lot of water at the bottom after cooking, like another commenter above. I used a 12 oz package of gluten-free pasta. Maybe it wasn’t enough to soak up all the water? Next time I would probably use the stovetop directions. Otherwise tastes good.
What size package of pasta? And is brown rice spirals the preferred type?
Yum, what a great meal! Love the kick and creaminess, without the guilt. Love it even more that I can make it in the IP ?
What can I use instead of avocado mayo? Due to food allergies we can’t do dairy or eggs.
Can I make this meal in a slow cooker? I don’t have an Instant Pot.
I wouldn’t make pasta in the slow cooker – make it on the stove top instead!
Made this last night and it was so yummy! I made a few substitution based on what I had in my pantry. Instead of the mayo, I used plain yogurt. The paprika I have is smoked paprika, which added a nice smokey flavor. The pasta I used was farfalle (bowties) and I cooked it for 8 minutes on Low pressure. Thanks for the recipe!
Is the butter/avocado oil put in the IP before sautéing the onion and peppers? I didn’t see where it was used.
Yes!
This was very good! I used the same pasta she links to in the recipe. However, when I opened my IP there was a ton of water in the bottom still. All the food was cooked, so I just removed the food with a slotted spoon, but I wasn’t sure if that much water was supposed to be left behind?
Really easy to make. Less than 15 minutes. I had previously cut my veggies and chicken on Sunday so it was just easy to throw into the IP.
No, there shouldn’t have been liquid!!!
This would totally hit the spot!
OMG this looks so good!!! All these flavors!
Definitely going to have to make this for dinner! Perfect comfort food from the Instant Pot!
Looks like a winner!
I need to try out your Cajun seasoning blend. Sounds so good!
